Thread lace scarves are made up of ribbons, yarn, thread, silk fabrics, rayon tapes, and anything that looks good and feels good. They come in different colorways, patterns and styles. These images give you the idea of the colors and patterns, but … they are each individually made and never exactly the same. More often than not when you order we will be making it for you. |

Colorways - Scarves do not consist of one color, rather they are made up of "colorways". One scarf might have autumn tones of orange, rust, and bronze. Another scarf might be a summery scarf and consist of peaches, yellows and pinks. (Autumn tones in photo at left) ) Each scarf is made up of possibly 20 different elements, all different shades and colors to create the whole. The beauty is in the multiplicity of color, and the "chameleon-like" effect these scarves have when worn with different outfits, shifting color orientation one way or another. |

Style - There are 2 styles, Full Thread Lace and Half Thread Lace. The Full Thread Lace has the woven lace-like pattern throughout the full length of the scarf. The Half Thread Lace has the lacy patterns on the ends of the scarf with a coordinating color of soft silk fabric connecting them. |
